WP4 – Land, Water & Biodiversity

Work package leads: Land and land use, Minerals, Agriculture (Imperial) Water (UEA)

The Land, Water & Biodiversity work-package has the objective of evaluating the impacts of the range of the EU land-based provisioning and decarbonisation pathways on Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) emissions, terrestrial carbon stocks, biodiversity, as well as water use & resources. In connection with other Work-packages it will assess the supplies and potential constraints of geological resources, such as fossil fuels & minerals for the manufacturing, building, agriculture and other relevant sectors represented in the EU Calculator.
